He has performed as the featured act to sold out night clubs and theatres. He has also had the privilege of being the opening act for the well known Canadian children's entertainer Fred Penner. His full stage “Magic and Illusion Show” has been a favorite for all audiences.

John Kaplan has enjoyed a national career spanning over 25 years, encountering nearly every performing environment – he's done it all and become one of Canada's favourite family entertainers.

John has shared the stage as an opening act with such artists as comedian Jay Leno and the pop group Boomtown Rats. He was a featured performer at Expo 86, and in 1989 John created and starred in the Opening Ceremonies show for the Labatt National Men's Curling Briar, amazing the crowd of 10,000 by making the coveted Golden Tankard trophy appear out of thin air... along with all 9 of the competing teams!

Several years later he created and starred in the halftime show for the Calgary Stampeders Football Club, and has created and performed dozens of promotional shows for corporate giants like McDonald's, Christian Dior, Safeway & Toyota, to name a few.
